St. Paul’s International School (SPIS) –A vision 21st century school had its humble beginning on 5th May 2003, under the management of the Archdiocese of Verapoly, a doyen in the field of quality education. The school owns its origin to His Grace, The Most. Rev. Dr. Daniel Acharuparambil, Archbishop of Verapoly, the former Retore Mangificus (Magnificent Rector) of world renowned Pontifical Urban University, Rome, Italy.
SPIS is honored to have the blessings and able guidance of his Grace, The Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Kalathiparambil, the present patron and the Archbishop of Verapoly.His graceful presence, futuristic vision, proficient guidance coupled with international experience enables SPIS to soar great heights.
The school is the brainchild of Rev. Fr. Jose Chelangara, the first Director, who is a high profile educationalist and visionary.
SPIS is a Catholic Christian educational institution affiliated to CBSE. St. Paul's embodies and epitomizes the spirit of excellence rooted in the rich heritage and traditions of the Archdiocese of Verapoly, a doyen in the field of quality education. With the dedicated and passionate work of the pioneer team, the School was established in 1999 and later elaborated itself into Higher Secondary School. St. Paul's caters to students, in its Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary classes.
St. Paul's aims at providing an environment in which every student discovers full potential. Down through the years the annual intake of the students have been increased and present student strength is 1550 and 130 staff members in teaching, administration and ancillary services.
From its very beginning, the school has maintained high academic standards with 100% pass, several national ranks, distinctions and first classes. Students excel both in curricular and co-curricular activities. Students do enjoy well established infrastructure for class rooms as well as sports, games, art, communication and AI which indeed contribute to optimum learning and well-being.
